Project BBLIKE

In 2008, long before platforms like Apple Music came to existence, I conceptualized BBLIKE—a music production web application. BBLIKE was filed for a provisional patent, though it didn’t go through the full patenting process.

The platform was designed for three primary users: Musicians/Artists, Labels/Companies, and General Consumers. Artists and labels had the capability to debut and monetize their tracks, while consumers could explore and acquire music from around the world.

However, BBLIKE was more than a digital music store. Its 'PROJECT' facet aimed to blend audio, imagery, and video into a unified digital media entity. Musicians could embellish their tunes with striking visuals, and visual artists had the opportunity to enhance their pieces with accompanying sound. This unique fusion not only enriched user experience but also nurtured remote collaborations between audio and visual artists. The concept also held promise in the educational sector, turning learning into a more immersive, enjoyable process.

Furthermore, BBLIKE's structure allowed advertisers to embed short commercials within these multimedia projects, forging a beneficial scenario for artists and consumers alike. This sponsorship could reduce or even waive costs for end-users, all the while offering artists an alternative revenue channel.
